The LG G6 leaks and rumours have been covered numerous times already but this time we have got something slightly more interesting – an actual leaked press render of the upcoming smartphone obtained by Evan Blass.
This render is not revealing any new features compared to what we already had. It is just here to confirm that most rumours are true. The front of the device is taken up by the 5.7 inch QHD LCD display with bezels noticeably smaller than in last year’s phones and with curved corners. The glass back houses the dual cameras and flash module and the sides make room for the volume buttons and card tray. It seems that the material on the rear cover changes with every new image so it is possible that LG will make the flagship device in two versions – a metal one and a glass one. The lack of a modular design is, of course, something we have to accept but considering the poor implementation of this technology in the LG G5, this might be a good move from the company. This picture also shows the new, simpler lock screen UI.
Apart from this, the LG G6 is rumoured to feature a Snapdragon 821 processor and Android Nougat with the LG UX skin on top of it. The phone will be released this Sunday in Barcelona. What are your thoughts on the new design? What features and improvements would you like to see in the upcoming smartphone?
