If you want to learn to code in Java but don’t know where to start, Encode is just the right app for you. You will learn the basics of programming by taking short lessons on different topics. There is a free and paid version, with the latter featuring even more in-depth lessons, extras and no ads. The free version is quite enough for starters, though. In is worth noting that Encode is and offline app, so you can learn to code no matter where you are. In addition, Encode has a beautiful Material Design UI, a day and night theme and much more. Colombo is a fast, intuitive and nicely designed web browser. The home screen contains a search bar, a shortcut to the settings and a bookmarks screen. The browser packs a few useful features such as multiple tabs which can be managed from the recent apps screen, an colour scheme which changes based on the website you are viewing, AdBlock, a private mode, multiple search engine support and app shortcuts for the Pixel Launcher. Blip Blip is a simple app that regularly notifies you when a certain period of time has passed (for example 5 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour). You can select different sounds, change the volume, enable vibration, select silent hours or days and more. While the app is not for everyone, it can be quite useful in some situations. Additionally, Blip Blip comes in at less than a megabyte.



Just as the name suggests, Forecastie is weather app. It features a tabbed home screen, giving you all the important weather information such as the temperature, sky condition, wind speed, pressure, humidity or sunrise and sunset times at a glance. There are also a few advanced options available, for example graphs and weather maps. Light House

Finally, the game for this month is Light House. This is a puzzle game where your goal is to deliver light to a lighthouse using portals, mirrors and other objects . There are 8 available packs of challenging levels and every so often a new object or feature appears. All of this combined with the calm background soundtrack makes for a very enjoyable and engaging experience.
