3 Android apps that you shouldn’t miss this week – Weekly App Roundup

Here are a few great Android apps to start March off.

Hermit

Apps are getting heavier and more demanding, eating up storage space and battery power. The solution to these problems is Hermit. This tool lets you create Lite Apps by simply providing a link to an associated website. Hermit will then create a shortcut on your desktop for easy access to the app. The website is wrapped in a material design interface which provides easy navigation options, different views, ad blocking and shortcuts to different screens of the website. Hermit works surprisingly well and while creating more than 2 Lite Apps requires purchasing the paid version, it is still a great tool to have.

BatON

BatON is a straight-forward yet very clever app. The tool displays the estimated battery level of Bluetooth devices connected to your phone or tablet in a sticky notification which you can tap at any time to recheck the battery status. There is also an automatic measure timer. While BatON has its drawbacks, it is definitely a useful tool.

Cornerfly

If you are a fan of the rounded corners of the display on the LG G6, Cornerfly is the app for you. Using it you can easily add rounded corners to almost any smartphone’s display. You can individually adjust the settings for each app with options to round only specific corners or overlay the navigation bar. Cornerfly does slightly affect performance but is regardless an interesting offering.
