3 Android apps that you shouldn’t miss this week – Weekly App Roundup

Another week has passed, and here is a list of 3 great Android apps that can improve your smartphone experience.

With Android Nougat, you can double tap the recent apps button to jump between your two recently used apps. If you want to get this feature on any other Android version, Pintasking is just the right app. It lets you quickly switch between apps with the use of customisable bubbles which you can place on the corner of your screen or the swipe pad, which lets you swipe down from a specific area of the status bar to trigger the function. The app also has a handful of useful settings and is definitely a great time saver.

Snap is a simple app which lets you see a pull-down panel of your selected widgets from any app. This is triggered by swiping down from a selected¬†area of the status bar. There is not a lot happening in the app itself – there is just a few settings (such as enabling Snap on the lock screen and selecting the apps in which you don’t want to use the widget panel) and a screen for managing the widgets you want to¬†have quick access to.

Frame is another minimalistic wallpaper app. On launch, the photo of the day is displayed. You can swipe between the remaining three tabs – popular, featured and a settings screen. Clicking on a wallpaper opens a screen where you can download it, set it as your background or share it. All of this paired with the beautiful animations and effects makes for a great wallpaper app that is most certainly worth trying.
